Misha Lakhani – SS13 Couture Shoot

Out of the unpublished shoot of Misha Lakhani’s SS13 couture below are the top three that I loved most! According to Misha, the styling for the shoot was done by herself.
And, modeled by the very stunning, Annie Jaffri.

I think Misha Lakhani pulled it off with a very simple yet classy touch this time.

Here, as seen, model Annie wears a very glamorous, double side slit layered monochrome dress. The monochrome fashion trend, as seen on so many celebs lately, is one of the easiest ways to keep your wardrobe in style. It only consists of a simple black and white or beige color scheme. The monochrome trend never goes out of fashion and has returned to the runway with a bang!

The draped dress, coming in loose folds, looks rather elegant, with no such accessories, but a burgundy clutch that looks perfect as a color combination!

This lovely dress, more of a jumpsuit, except no legs, HAS got to be my favorite! Out of Misha’s signature digital print – that we have seen her wearing when on ramp with her models. I think it already looks very lovely, with NO accessories that every one has been wearing lately, as the new ‘cool’, in trend. The messy braid has got to be it, as it brings together the whole look.

This asymmetrical dress, with work of Gota and two layers of orange and saffron has a lot going on. It has a look of a vintage Indian saree but in a very trendy, fabulous way. I like how there are no forced accessories, but the very traditional ‘Jhumkay’, for a final touch.

These lovely works of art, were showcased at PSFW 2013. I absolutely love the shoot ( by Rizwan ul Haq), and love her clothing line!
